Love a good dive bar. This has a great crowd and ambiance. The vibe was perfect. Music loud but not too loud. The wings are good. Probably Top 5 in Syracuse but definitely not #1. Would love to go back here. Love the fact that the one thing updated here is the TVs. Great spot to watch a game.

One of my favorite places to go out to for drinks and food. This place has some of the best wings in Syracuse, the best flavor (my opinion) is the salt and pepper...it comes with a special side of hot sauce, which is amazing...the other menu items are equally as good...you will be amazed at the size of their hot sandwiches, probably won't be able To finish them...my favorite hot sandwich is the Philly cheesesteak. Bartenders are always friendly and the atmosphere is great...a great stop! Go out and support this locally owned business!

Definitely some of the best wings in town. $16 for a dozen isn't bad at all either. They offer a bunch of flavors, I opted for hot garlic parm. It was delicious although I wouldn't consider it too spicy. The wings were crispy and tender. Overlooked caveat, but I also appreciate the quality blue cheese dipping sauce and fresh celery.

Stopped here on the way through town. Wings were excellent- the spicy ranch wings were excellent. The salt/pepper wings with dipping sauce were also very good as were the medium ones. The owner was very friendly.

4/4/22 My wife read a review in the Post and we decided to have lunch. I haven't been here in years but remember the service and food were always good. We didn't know they don't serve lunch on Mondays but the bartender offered to fire up the grill for us. We ordered burgers on a toasted bun. My wife ordered hers with lettuce, onion and tomato. Just the burger with a little mayo for me. Both burgers were fantastic. One of the best tasting buns we've had in years. The buns had a nice firm texture and didn't disintegrate into a soggy, doughy mess as we ate. We were given a side of macaroni salad to go with our burgers. They also have a very good selection of beer. We will be back!

Best. Wings. Ever. I swear the best wings in the world. Okay, maybe I didn't have to go that far. But seriously, go have some wings here. You won't regret it!

Great time here last night. We came to watch some Basketball and to get those famous salt and pepper wings. The wings were amazing. We tried the garlic Parmesan and Buffalo hot as well. All were yummy. Staff was very friendly and all the regulars were real cool to hang out with. Parking is in the back and easy to get to. Come check them out.

This place is located in a pretty sketchy part of town. There's a huge parking lot behind the building and the staff here recommends using the backdoor and going through the kitchen to get inside, for increased safety reasons. You can still use the front door during daylight hours, but I think they lock it up once it starts getting darker. If you're concerned about safety, then go during daylight hours at lunch or something. It's not bad at all during this time. I heard this place had the best salt and pepper wings in town and so I had to come and try it! It's a regular dive bar kind of place. Lots of room for sitting and hanging out. The people here are friendly, but straight to the point. They weren't too chatty with us, but that's okay too. We ordered our brews and an order of wings to split. We got the classic hot wings and an order of salt and pepper wings. You can go ahead and just skip the hot wings. They were okay. The hot sauce was nice, but more on the mild side and it was also too sweet for my tastes. The hot sauce as a dipping sauce was wonderful though it went really nicely with the salt and pepper wings. I would dip my salt and pepper wings in the blue cheese and the dip it in the hot sauce -- so good. As for the best salt and pepper wings in town, I'm not so sure about that. I've have some salt and pepper wings that were better elsewhere, but the salt and pepper wings here are a solid contender. Definitely come check it out and see for yourself!

This place is the best!! Great neighborhood bar! The wings are the best I have ever had...anywhere! The atmosphere is fantastic and the bartender (Mike or "Z") is the man who will remember your name forever. Darts, TV's, Beers, Popcorn and friends. See you there tomorrow! As a native to Syracuse I LOVE this bar. It definitely draws a suburb neighborhood crowd most who used to live in the city back in the day. Best wings I've ever had. And a friendly bartender who will remember your name as soon as you walk in the door. If your looking for some cheap beer, sports, good food and friendly locals Swallows is the place for you. p.s. if you want to look like a regular the first time, be sure to enter through the back door and walk through the kitchen into the bar, trust me :)
